Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

At Anantha Foundation Trust, all donations are made voluntarily to support our humanitarian, social welfare, emergency relief, and community initiatives. We value the trust of every donor and aim to maintain a transparent and fair process for donation-related concerns.

1. Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable

Once a donation has been successfully processed and verified, it is generally considered final and non-refundable.

As donations may be allocated toward ongoing charitable activities and relief initiatives, cancellation of a successfully completed donation is normally not permitted.

2. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

A refund request may be considered in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • The same donation was accidentally processed more than once.
  • An incorrect amount was donated due to a genuine transaction error.
  • A payment was made unintentionally and the circumstances reasonably justify review.

Such requests must be submitted within 7 working days from the date of the transaction. This matches the refund position in your campaign document.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a review, please contact us with:

  • Donor's full name
  • Registered email address
  • Registered mobile number
  • Donation amount
  • Date of transaction
  • Payment/Transaction ID
  • Reason for requesting the refund

Additional information may be requested where necessary to verify the transaction.

4. Refund Review

Every eligible refund request will be reviewed by Anantha Foundation Trust.

Submission of a request does not automatically guarantee a refund. Approval will depend on transaction verification, the circumstances of the request, and applicable payment and banking procedures.

5. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be initiated through the original payment method/payment channel, subject to the procedures of our payment gateway and the relevant bank or financial institution.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the donor's account may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.

6. Payment Gateway Issues

Online donations are processed through Razorpay.

If an amount is debited but the transaction shows as failed or pending, donors should contact us with the relevant transaction details. We will review the payment status based on available payment gateway records.
